Last updated: August 7, 2026. These Terms govern the use of WordSqueezer and the purchase and use of WordSqueezer Premium.

1. Service provider

WordSqueezer is operated by the service provider identified in the Imprint. Contact details for legal, payment and support questions can also be found there.

2. What WordSqueezer provides

WordSqueezer is an online word-game service offering free and Premium games, word puzzles, leaderboards, challenges, statistics and related tools. Individual features may be changed, improved, replaced or removed as the service develops.

3. Free access

Free features may be used without purchasing Premium. Free play may be subject to daily limits, game-specific limits, advertising or other restrictions shown on the relevant page.

4. WordSqueezer Premium

WordSqueezer Premium currently costs $2.00 for 30 days. It is a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.

Premium access begins when the payment has been successfully recognised and Premium has been activated for the WordSqueezer player profile. The Premium period then runs for 30 consecutive days.

Premium may include additional WordSqueezes, game history, extended statistics, advertising-free WordSqueezer pages, the Premium Arena, private multiplayer groups, Solo Squeeze Tac Toe, SqueezeFix Premium and other Premium features shown on the website.

5. Payment through Ko-fi

Premium payments are currently initiated through Ko-fi. Depending on the payment method, Ko-fi may use payment providers such as PayPal or Stripe. The contract for WordSqueezer Premium is with the WordSqueezer service provider identified in the Imprint, not with Ko-fi.

The email address used for Premium access should match the email address used for the Ko-fi payment where WordSqueezer asks for payment verification.

6. Browser recognition and Premium access

WordSqueezer normally recognises a player through technically necessary browser/site data. There is no conventional manual logout button.

If the relevant browser data is deleted, that browser is no longer recognised as the same WordSqueezer player and therefore appears logged out. Where available, active Premium access may be restored by using the same email address that was used for the relevant Ko-fi payment.

Deleting browser data does not cancel Premium, restart the 30-day Premium period or create a right to a new Premium period.

7. Refund policy

Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, payments are final and non-refundable. WordSqueezer does not offer voluntary refunds for unused Premium time, change of mind, failure to use the service, deletion of browser data or loss of local browser recognition.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any mandatory statutory right to withdraw, receive a refund, obtain a price reduction or claim another remedy where such a right applies under consumer law.

8. Statutory withdrawal rights

Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online contract within a legally defined period. Where such a right applies, the statutory rules take precedence over the general non-refund rule above.

If a consumer expressly requests that Premium access begin before the end of an applicable withdrawal period, WordSqueezer may begin providing Premium immediately. Any statutory consequences of a later withdrawal, including any legally permissible compensation for services already provided, are governed by the applicable consumer law.

9. Fair play

WordSqueezer is competitive. Players must not manipulate requests, scores, timers, game sessions, challenge links, Premium status or game data, or use automated tools, scripts or bots to obtain an unfair advantage.

WordSqueezer may reject invalid results, remove manipulated scores, invalidate challenges or restrict access where this is reasonably necessary to protect the games, other players or the technical service.

10. Nicknames, groups and multiplayer content

Nicknames and group names must not be unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, deliberately abusive, impersonating or otherwise reasonably unsuitable for a public or shared game environment.

Players are responsible for invitation links they share. Premium invitation links do not give another person free Premium access; every Premium Arena participant must have their own active Premium access.

11. Availability and changes

WordSqueezer is provided as an online service and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, hosting failures, security incidents, technical changes or circumstances outside reasonable control may temporarily affect access.

Games, layouts, rules, word pools, scoring systems and individual features may be updated where reasonably necessary to improve the service, maintain security, prevent abuse or continue development. Mandatory contractual and consumer rights remain unaffected.

12. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the WordSqueezer name, original game presentation, graphics, texts, software, game concepts as expressed on the website and other original content are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law.

Access to WordSqueezer does not transfer ownership of WordSqueezer content, software or branding to the player.

13. Third-party services

WordSqueezer may link to or use third-party services such as Ko-fi, PayPal, Stripe or advertising providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their respective services.

14. Liability

Liability is governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including mandatory liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory consumer rights.

15. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by German law, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protection granted by the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence where such protection applies.

16. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated when WordSqueezer changes its games, Premium model, payment process or legal requirements. The version applicable to a Premium purchase is the version made available at the time of that purchase, subject to mandatory law.
